This little trooper grunted, sighed and slept (somewhat!) LOL throughout the 3 hour session we had today! Reidar is the 4th child in the family with 3 older sisters and I'm sure all that grunting will come in handy one day. It was such a treat to work with Amy and Grandma Karen. This session was a result of the photo ads that I put in Rhea Lana's grab bags back in the spring sale. Each session is so fun and each little baby is so different in personality.
In the end we achieved positive results

Electronics Expo offers the Samsung SMX-F44 Secure Digital Card Digital Camcorder in Black for $279. Coupon code “STLENS” cuts it to $237.04. With free shipping, that's the lowest total price we could find by $33. The SMX-F44 features 720×480 MPEG4 (H.264) recording, 52x optical zoom, 2.7″ LCD, 16GB internal memory, SD/SDHC card slot, USB 2.0 connectivity, and more.
Samsung has announced the launch of its first 1TB Spinpoint-series 2.5" hard drive, designed for use in laptops that need a boost to their internal storage capabilities.
Dubbed the Spinpoint MT2, the device uses a slightly bulky 12.5mm form factor along with 333GB platters to deliver its impressive storage capacity, and improvements to specifications all around. Samsung claims that the new drive offers 20 percent increased performance and around 4 percent lower power consumption when compared with "competitive drives," although fails to name names.
Sadly for those expecting blazing-fast performance, Samsung is concentrating on power draw and storage capacity with this model: spinning at just 5,400RPM and featuring a last-generation SATA 3.0Gb/s interface, it's not going to compete in any speed trails any time soon.
The company's vice president of storage marketing, I.C. Park, describes the new drive as offering "the largest capacity in what has previously been offered as an option for portable digital devices."
Standard features of the Spinpoint line - including SilentSeek and NoiseGuard, designed to drop noise levels during operation, and shock resistance of up to 400G while operating and 800G while parked - make an appearance, along with Samsung's dynamic balancing technology which the company claims offers enhanced stability and reliability.
Sadly, the bulky form factor may limit the number of people who can make use of the new drive: at 12.5mm thick in order to accommodate the extra platter, there's likely to be a limited number of laptops that can actually fit the Spinpoint MT2.
Are you impressed to see Samsung bringing a 1TB 2.5" drive to market, or are you waiting for the same capacity to become available in a 7,200RPM 9.5mm version before getting excited? Share your thoughts over in the forums.
Sure, you want a notebook PC that's all business. But a little style can go a long way. Introducing the new P560-54G Notebook from Samsung. Its sturdy design and uncompromising performance sets the business professional standard for notebooks.

Fujitsu Lifebook U820 promises the charge – and yet functional result. Unfortunately, it needs to have a better interface and to make smarter use of scarce resources. It looks like the U820 falters as a Tablet PC. This 6.0 by 6.7 by 1.0 inches, the U820 is not the smallest machine on the block, but it is a fighter. The Convertible Tablet features a swiveling 5.6-inch touch screen and weighs a paltry 1.32. Despite its size, it appears to be robust: Although stress tests are ill-advised, the chassis feels solid, and the neck is smooth and offers just enough resistance.
Fujitsu includes a 1.6 GHz Atom Z530 CPU, 1GB of RAM and a 120GB hard drive – not bad in theory. But then Windows Vista Home Premium climbs on board, and the U820 shudder. If you are a bit light as Web or word processing, it is good. Toss in a bit of heavy lifting (say, with a bit more complex than a YouTube clip), however, and one can almost hear grab the poor thing. It deserves a mark of just under 24.6 to World Bench Here is a machine that could have really benefited from Windows XP (like nearly every netbook with an Atom processor) or more of RAM. Fujitsu offers this laptop with XP – your better bet. On the bright side, the U820 lasted just over seven hours in our battery life tests.

While smaller is generally better to give at some point something has. In this case it is running a 5.6-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1200 by 800th Initial work can be an exercise in frustration, because even the toughest road warriors will find their minds and their vision tense. Tweaking the resolution, or simply increase the font size can help on all your web pages and documents, but multitasking is almost impossible. At least the U820 has a zoom feature (as is often the case with small screen computers).
The keyboard suffers. With a little practice (or microscopic hands), you should be able to tap water from prose, without too many mistakes, but extended work sessions may be a close and nerve-racking experience. Thumb-typing is technically an option, but the device is to do a bit too far to comfortably for long periods. For navigation, the netbook has a reference nub and buttons on the “shoulders”, hinged just below the screen. The layout takes a little getting used to, and the core can be hypersensitive, but it works.
Although the U820 design has a lot to like most of the questions turn into award when the screen down on the keyboard fold and use the device as a tablet. In portrait mode, the screen is a near-perfect facsimile of a small notebook. It is a still a bit hard to read, but Vista Tablet PC support provides excellent handwriting recognition, so note is a breeze. The small size and light weight make the operation of U820 for a long time quite easily, and the screen is just large enough to be comfortable, without too much space in your hand. Spend an hour or so learning to deal with Vista with a pen and a factor in the U820 the long battery life, and you have yourself a respectable digital notebook.
A microphone and headphone jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a single USB connection and a webcam round out the standard feature list. Along the front of the device, you will also find a fingerprint sensor, an SD card slot, a Compact Flash slot and an expansion port, the last of which a dongle that ports created for an Ethernet cable and a VGA monitor supports. Overall, it is not bad, really: a few extra USB ports would be nice, but denied slapping on a whole range of peripherals, most of the benefits of an ultra portable. Bluetooth support should have covered you if you are willing to settle and proper use of mouse and keyboard, but the U820 simply do not have the chops to serve as the primary machine.

The U820 also enabled a mobile broadband modem on AT & T’s EDGE service (a subscription-hop). And then there are the integrated GPS functionality, support for Garmin. It is not indeed replace your standard GPS device, it works – most of the time. Once I found myself cruising down the street at 14 miles per hour, while sitting on the couch. Connect the optional external antenna (the film to the microphone jack of all places) cleared that issue up.
With a narrow screen and keyboard, mobile broadband, GPS, and unbearably tinny sound from a single speaker underpowered on paper, the Lifebook U820 is more of a smartphone as an undersized excess computer equipment. While significant deficiencies (and a $ 1,200 price tag) Moor ultimately this machine down, it could be something close to a real contender. Drop the mobile broadband and GPS, the user receives the same time, an additional inch margin, and – performance issues aside – the U820 could become a more palatable PC into a nice little package.

Hope you enjoyed that video. Here is some Interesting Reading.
have an old 1.6GHz Athlon 64 cpu, I use the nTune to do the overclocking up to 2GHz. After doing the overclocking for a few hours I tested the temperature and the cpu was cool. So, I am thinking to overclcok it more, but the problem is that nTunes would not overclock it more that this. So, can you suggest me some over clocking software which have more powerful features. Any help is appreciated. Thank you for your help.
I think you should go with SetFSB, SetFSB is a software to change the CPU frequency by using a new value on the FSB of the motherboard. Offering an interface providing access to a quick start, this software more suitable for beginners but also experienced through its multitude of options.
These are the supported architectures by SetFSB
- ICS953805CFLF (ECS GS7610 ULTRA V1.1C)
- ICS9LPR426AGLF (ASUS Eee PC)
- ICS9LPRS514EGLF (MSI P965 Platinum)
- ICS9LPRS587EGLF (GIGABYTE P35-DS3)
- Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V2030. ICS952906AFLF
Here are few software’s which you can use
Prime95
This program is now only available, but it is suitable for all common operating systems include Windows, MacOS and Linux. With the freeware Prime95 can see the the settings of the cpu
ClockGen
ClockGen makes it possible to overclock your hardware (eg for games). It is a freeware tool available for download here. For overclocking you should already be an experienced user.
Asus PC Probe 2
Asus PC Probe is a monitoring tool for your PC, which is bundled with most ASUS motherboards, but also for other Boards and is freely available on all Windows distributions.
50e overclock
Hello,
I think you should use SetFSB, it also has an option “Ultra FSB” to increase the FSB beyond its capacity to achieve a very high frequency . Attention however is overclocking, increasing the frequency causes an increase in CPU temperature. Better to have a good cooling system before starting this kind of manipulation.
Some of the softwares you can use
EVGA Precision
The Californian company EVGA presents “EVGA Precision” an in-house graphics card
overclocking tool and offers the advantage of ease of use and clarity. For …
CPU-Z
CPU-Z is currently probably the most common “diagnostic tool” among
overclockers. There is not only the most important information about the CPU
used, but also about the …
VoltageFactory – Voltmod tool for NVIDIA and ATI graphics cards
The overclocking tool VoltageFactory allows the easy raising the core voltage of
graphics cards with the Volterra VT11XX chip. These include the NVIDIA GeForce
models.
CPU-Z is one of the most important programs a overclockers. It reads all the important data from the CPU: Vcore, Mega Hertz, cache, front side and also the
stepping. From this data, other users can recognize the achievements of the overclocking and the quality of the processor. The program would also provide
accurate values on the memory and the name of the mainboard. Overclockers can use CPU-Z entered the BIOS settings at a glance.

As you can see, the Lifebook S710 is very fast in CPU and overall tests because of its speedy SSD but fails in 3D related tests due to the lack of a discreet GPU present on both the Sony Z and the Lenovo Edge Notebooks.
Battery life is decent on the Lifebook S710 considering the high specifications. We managed to get almost four hours out of it. Replacing the optical drive with another battery should hopefully last you over six hours. The laptop didn’t very loud or hot during our testing either.
With a street price is AED 6250 (US$ 1700), the S710 is a bit on the higher side. Yes, it has some incredible specs but at the same time, a discreet GPU or a higher res screen could’ve justified it costs.

What a day! The first day of the Food and Light workshop was fantastic, although it started off a bit rocky. I set my alarm last night and, exhausted, fell asleep around 9h30. I must have turned off my 7h00 alarm in my sleep, because I awoke at 7h46 in a panic – the workshop begins at 8h00. I ran around like an idiot getting ready, shoving my contacts in, grabbing my camera and laptop, etc. and – to my utter amazement – appeared, presentable, on time at the gallery across the street! But oh man, what a way to start the day!
The first part of the workshop covered the pretty basic fundamentals of photography and the camera, etc. and spent a lot of time doing hands-on work with different props and other things. Grabbed an unbelievable lunch at The Kitchen – “Boulder’s Community Kitchen” – which stocks locally sourced ingredients (including Udi’s gluten-free bread!!) and is generally eco-friendly (the kitchen runs on wind-powered electricity and the used oil is recycled to run the owner’s car). I had their amazing fire-grilled lamb burger with pepper, tomato and mango chutney on Udi’s bread, with french fries and a green salad with a big, refreshing glass of iced tea – delicious, filling, and perfect in the heat!

Today I will be teaching you how to make a cool photo montage in Photoshop. A photo montage is a combination of photos that are all combined into one image. You can use different pictures of family members and loved ones to make your photo montage. This technique can be used in Photoshop 6.0 and above. The first step is to open a new file to work with. You can make the new file any size you wish, but make sure it's big enough to fit all the pictures you want to use in your photo montage. The next step would be to import the photos you want to use in your montage. For instance if you want pictures of your family in the montage then you should open those. Once you have your photos open resize them to the sizes you want. You can do this by hitting control T on your keyboard and then grabbing he corner of the arrow. To keep the same proportions make sure to hold down shift while you do this. Also you should change any other things like lighting and brightness of the photos before we put them in our montage.
Once you are happy with how your photos look we can start putting them in the blank file we made eariler. To do this double click on on the background layer of each photo to unlock them. Then once you have done this click and drag the photos into the blank file with the move tool. Now once you have all the photos in the blank file you can start arranging them in the order in which you want them. After you have put your photos in the places you want you can add some effects to them. One effect I suggest using is an outer glow. Something you can do that is really cool is play with the blending modes to make them blend in with the background more. For example if you use clouds as your background you can mess with the blending modes to create the illusion that the people in your photos are in the clouds. So be creative and have fun with the project. The sky is really the limit when it comes to what you can do with your photo montage. Have fun and arrange and resize the photos any way you like Once you have something you are happy with just save the file. And if you want to make it a jpeg to put it online just go to save for web. I hope you enjoyed this lesson and have a great day.

So many things in this world simply don't make sense to me. We want special effects in our movies, but we don't want special effects when our movie stars pose on magazine covers. Did people think Sigourney Weaver might really have blue skin? Of course not. Did they think there were real bullets flying on the set of Avatar? Of course not. But they want to see the Navi and even more importantly they want to see guns shooting and things blowing up. Likewise, they want to see hawt, unblemished skin on their magazine covers. Well, that doesn't exist, so the special effects team comes in. And then it's like this conspiracy. Why do people care? If the end result is more appealing to the eyes, who cares if it's manufactured behind a computer screen? If it's not more appealing, then why bother with the magazine or celebrity culture at all? There are women on the street who look as hot and who are intellectually just as interesting as Julia Roberts. If her photo in an ad bothers me, I'll just stare at one of them (and hope she doesn't call the cops on me for stalking or something…)
Did you guys see this:
http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/yankees/poll_baseball_insiders_prefer_phil_H9u5FC2i4CTTdXX1pqBTbM
I found this pretty hard to believe, being that it was ‘baseball insiders’ and not fans. I mean, the reasons for preferring Hughes that they gave are reasonable, better secondary stuff, better K:BB, playoff experience, doing it in the AL East, and 2 years younger. However, Pelfrey already has two 30 start seasons with upwards of around 200 innings in each season. Hughes has yet to do that once, and there’s already talk of slowing him down, skipping some of his starts, to keep him ready for the playoffs without a huge innings jump. I’ll take the guy that’s the proven horse that’s shown he can go 200+ innings strong. I’m surprised that consideration didn’t give Pelf at least a few votes.

wider than iphone & will fit in normal shirt, pants, jacket (inside or out) pocket or purse. As far as size goes, most driving requires handsfree, so a Bluetooth, which I use almost all the time eliminates size worries, especially with good voice activated capabilities. Purchase @ Dell website UNLOCKED for only $500 or probably similar price to iPhone on 24 mo. contract with ATT. Take your pick ! ? ! Not sure if it will be released with Android OS 1.6 (like UK (6-04-10) or 2.0,2.1 or 2.2 which has many improvements. Can be upgraded to 2.2 thru Dell (N/Chg.) when available, soon after release in US.
